Pav bhaji dosa - Dosa stuffed with pav bhaji masala. Pav bhaji is a famous Street food, chaat item of India. It is made with onions, tomatoes, mashed potatoes and few other vegetables served with ladi pav or fluffy rolls. Yesterday I made pav bhaji, some bhaji was left, so I thought of serving it with dosa for dinner. To my surprise, it turned out to be a hit. Everyone in my family liked it, in fact they were asking for more.
Ingredients:
Idli - dosa batter - I'm using millet idli - dosa batter. Rice idli - dosa batter can also be used
Pav - bhaji masala - Left- over pav bhaji masala can be used.
Oils and Fats - Neutrally flavoured oil or ground nut oil suits the best
Method:
- Spread dosa batter on heated tawa. Cook on one side. No need to flip over
- Place pav - bhaji masala on one half of the dosa
- Close and serve.
Accompaniments:
Serve with onion, onion- tomato chutney and sambar. I served it with onion chutney and sambar.

1 cup = 250ml
Ingredients with measurements:
Oil- to drizzle
Idli-dosa batter - 1 cup
Pav bhaji masala - 1 cup
Directions with pics:
1. Heat a dosa tawa.
2. Spread dosa batter from inside to outside. Spread thinly.
3. Allow to get cooked. This takes a minute or so.
4. No need to flip. Place a small ladleful of pav bhaji masala on one half of the dosa. Close the remaining half and serve.
