Murungai ilai dosai/Drumstick leaves dosa/Moringa Dosa

Murungai ilai dosai - Thin millet crepes sprinkled with drumstick leaves powder and served with chutney or sambar. This dosa is similar to podi dosa wherein idli-milagai podi is sprinkled and served in the latter. We tasted curry leaves dosa in shri sangeetas, i was able to make out the ingredients used in making the dosa and I tried to imitate the dosa in a similar manner, which came out very well.

Ingredients:

Batter - Millet idli-dosa batter is used. Any dosa batter can be used.

Powders - Murungai ilai powder or moringa powder, gun powder is used

  1. Spread dosa on a heated tawa. I'm using millet Idli-dosa Batter , regular rice based idli-dosa batter can also be used.
  2. Mix equal quantities of Murungai lIlai Podi and idly milagai podi
  3. Sprinkle the mixture all over dosa.
  4. Drizzle some ghee. Sesame oil also tastes good.
  5. No need to flip. Transfer to a plate.

Coconut chutney or any other chutney and sambar goes well with the dish.
