Indian lemonade - An indian version of cloudy non - carbonated drink made with a mixture of lemon juice, water and sugar along with some spices. This lemonade is good for digestion as it contains ginger and spice powders which helps in relieving indigestion.It also relieves headache associated with indigestion.
Key ingredients:
Lemon juice, water, salt,sweeteners, spices.
Salt - Fine pink salt or induppu is used. Fine white salt may also be used.
Sweetened - White sugar, brown or honey may be used.
Spice powders - Cumin powder, pepper powder are used.
Spices - Ginger is used.
Method:
- Squeeze out the juice from the lemon.
- Extract juice from ginger.
- Mix lemon juice, ginger extract, sweetener, salt, spice powders with water.
- Serve in a tall glass.
Suggested Serving:
Chilled or at room temperature.
Storage:
Keep it in the refrigerator ,stays good for 2 days.

Ingredients:
Water - 4 glasses
Sugar - 1 cup
Ginger extract - 2 tsp from 1" ginger
Sendha namak - 1/4 tsp
Roasted cumin powder - a generous pinch
Black pepper powder - a pinch
Juice of 1 big lemon
Directions:
1. Add 4 glasses of water into the jug.
2. Squeeze 1 big lemon and add the juice to the water.
3, Remove the skin from the ginger. Cut the ginger into pieces. Put it in the blender and 1/4 cup of water. Grind finely. filter the juice. Add 2 tsp of this to the lemon water.
4. Add sugar. Stir well.
4. Add cumin powder, pepper powder, salt.
5. Mix well and serve.
